MEDIA ADVISORY, April 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by Jack Heckathorne, author of "Separation of Church and God, The Final Judgment."
In the New German book "Schoepfung und Evolution" (translated "Creation and Evolution") published recently in Germany, Pope Benedict was quoted as saying that evolution is not "completely provable." Indicating that he believes it has been partially proven. Where is this proof? Evolution is a belief, which is not provable, it is not science, and it is not even rational. Spontaneous generation would have to be a proven fact in order for evolution to even have a starting point.
"One has only to contemplate the magnitude of this task to concede that the spontaneous generation of a living organism is impossible. Yet here we are--as a result, I believe, of spontaneous generation."
[George Wald, Evolutionist and former professor of biology at Harvard University "The Origin of Life," in 'The Physics and Chemistry of Life' (Simon & Schuster, 1955), p. 9]
Also, he did not take a stand for creationism, or even intelligent design, and highly praised this so-called "science" The Pope, of all people, should take a stand in faith and openly declare that Christ is the creator of all things if he is indeed the "Vicar of Christ" as he claims.
"For by him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is (existed) before all things, and by him all things consist." Colossians 1:16-18
By his uncertainty on the matter, many of his followers could be led down the wrong path. This position is long held by some former Popes as well. Evolution is Satan's ace trump in causing people to turn away from God. That is it's only purpose.
"Christianity has fought, still fights, and will fight science to the desperate end over evolution, because evolution destroys utterly and finally the very reason Jesus' earthly life was supposedly made necessary. Destroy Adam and Eve and the original sin, and in the rubble you will find the sorry remains of the Son of God. Take away the meaning of his death. If Jesus was not the redeemer that died for our sins, and this is what evolution means, then Christianity is nothing."
[G. Richard Bozarth, The Meaning of Evolution, American Atheist, p. 30, Sept. 20, 1979.]
It might be wise to keep in mind that Jesus Christ is the beginning and the ending, the creator, the mediator between man and God, the savior and the judge on judgment day, and he said: "He that is not with me is against me…" Matthew 12:30
