Music for the Soul Announces New Release and Enhanced Website

Contact: Steve Siler, Music for the Soul, 877-214-7703

NASHVILLE, June 5, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Music for the Soul is pleased to announce the release of Dignity: Songs & Stories for Caregivers.  This brand new full length CD project is dedicated to the millions of Americans currently providing assistance and support to older people and adults with disabilities.

Care giving is the fastest growing demographic in the United States.  In fact, approximately half of the U.S. adult population currently shoulders or soon will shoulder elder care responsibilities. The day-to-day realities of care-giving, while rewarding, can be isolating, exhausting, and at times devastating for those who invest their emotional, financial, spiritual, and practical resources in providing for the needs of their loved ones.

The early response to Dignity: Songs & Stories for Caregivers has been extremely gratifying.  "We are hearing from people that we have put words and music to the feelings they could not express.  That is an answer to our prayers," remarked Steve Siler, Founder of Music for the Soul.  Below are some of the initial comments that we’ve received:

"Dignity is the first music I have ever heard that truly exemplifies the heart of the family caregiver," says Gary Barg, he director of Caregiver.com

Kaye Harvey, of the Patient Advocate Ministry at Brentwood United Methodist says,  "The value of the Dignity CD to care-givers and care-receivers is immeasurable. I urge anyone working with care-giving to make Dignity a part of the journey."

Care-giving expert Shelly Beach says, "Listening to Dignity is like sitting in the company of a friend who knows our hearts and has walked where we have walked; who knows our trials and blessings, joys and tears, and our fears and sorrows."

Gloria Gaither calls Dignity, "A wonderful and tender project. Once again, Music for the Soul touches our souls by writing and singing songs that matter, songs that address the real needs of real people and take on the hard problems of life in an ever-redemptive way."

In conjunction with the release of Dignity: Songs & Stories for Caregivers, Music for the Soul is also announcing the launch of a new website which will make every resource CD and DVD in their catalogue available immediately for download with a gift of any amount.

"The hope of Christ is not for sale," says founder and director Steve Siler.  "We never want one's ability to pay to separate them from the help and hope they need.  People come to our site because they or someone they love are in deep pain," explains Siler.  "We want them to be able to access the help they need immediately."

The new website, www.musicforthesoul.org launches today.
