MARION, IA, Oct. 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- 1M4JC has continued to expand its global reach which had started by chance last year. In the last month alone, 1M4JC has shipped serially numbered shirts to Mozambique, New Zealand and Colombia.

"As of today," states Rob Gettemy, founder of 1M4JC, "we know there are 1M4JC shirts in Canada, Honduras, Colombia, Uruguay, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Mozambique, South Africa, Iraq, Japan, and Hong Kong." In addition, Gettemy states that through shipments to military addresses, he believes they are likely in four or five additional countries.

Gettemy is particularly excited that he just shipped the first shirt going to Iraq that is for an Iraqi citizen. Previously, all other Mid-East shipments have been to military addresses with no clear indication as to where they were going.

1M4JC, which stands for One Million for Jesus Christ, launched in April 2008 with a goal of having 1,000,000 people all wearing identical (but uniquely serially numbered) shirts proclaiming their faith in Jesus Christ. Initially, the company planned on selling only in the United States through its internet site and at Christian music festivals across the country.

As 1M4JC grows, the hope is to have 1M4JC days where people from all over the world wear their shirts at the same time. "Won't it be exciting if some day, there are a million people all standing up on the same day and saying this is the team I play for?" stated Gettemy.

1M4JC is committed to giving at least 30% of its profits to faith based missions. And while it is not yet profitable, it has already given to nearly 30 different organizations. A list of many of them can be found at the 1M4JC website at www.1M4JC.com.
