CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Nov. 10, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- empty tomb®, inc., is looking for a total of 500 Christians in the U.S. to sign on to empty tomb's Mission Match® Discipleship Tree® and then donate $48.

Each $48 gift accompanied by a sign-on before 11/30/2015 will be matched by an equal amount of $48 from a special donation account.*

The combined gifts will help provide the money that empty tomb's Mission Match offers to historically Christian congregations in the U.S. for their mission projects.

The goal is to expand global missions spending as a percent of total congregational spending.

*Deadline: The special donation account ends November 30, 2015. Up to a total of 500 first-time sign-ons with donations will be matched. Some have already signed on. More can still do so. Any money from the special account not used by 11/30/2015 will revert to the donor.

Information about the project and how to sign on to empty tomb's Mission Match Discipleship Tree is available at www.emptytomb.org/dtree.html.

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." Jesus Christ quoted in John 14:12-14 (NIV).
