Areli Media Announces the Release of Dax Cabrera's 'Arise: The Stories of the Seven -- Book One'

NASHVILLE, July 9, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Areli Media, in association with New Century Publishing, has announced the upcoming release of Dax Cabrera's, "Arise: The Stories of the Seven - Book One." Due on September 1st in hardcover, the first book in the fiction series is now available wherever digital and e-books are sold, including Amazon.com (http://amzn.com/B00DBPLVSG).

"The Stories of the Seven" began as a television animation concept that would present Biblical truth through an action packed "super-hero" type lens. As the concept grew, the episode guide transformed into a series of stories that ultimately led to the creation of the novel series.

"It was my attempt to deliver an alternative to the Harry Potter and Twilight trends," explains Cabrera. "Blending my love for the Bible and the type of fantasy heroes that have become so popular in today's entertainment, I wanted to retell the age-old stories of Scripture through the eyes of fictional characters that both enlighten and provide a fresh, new perspective for audiences of all ages. In nearly every form of entertainment today it seems we are constantly being surrounded and intrigued by the mystery and allure of vampires, witches, zombies, or super-heroes. I wanted to take that same tact in my approach to develop an unlikely, heroic squad of creatures that, up to now, has never really been seen before. By staying 100% true to scripture, we created a fictional group that not only have the ability to physically stand up against some unimaginably powerful threats, but can define faith, true heroism and a unique Biblical perspective throughout the adventure they're called to be a part of."

The series begins with "Arise," which sets the stage for a completely new retelling of the Bible. For the first time, readers will see the stories of the Bible told through the eyes of the very angels called to defend the Lord's plan for humanity, and the demons who have pledged their fates to stand in the way.

The author sets out to grab the imaginations of the reader and give them a fresh perspective of the unseen forces that battle around us on a constant basis. Says Cabrera, "'Arise' will have readers questioning the stories they think they know in the hopes that when they finish the fiction, they will search for the real truth in the Bible -- the greatest story ever told."
