HOUSTON, Aug. 1, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- Texas author Richard Capriola's new book, "A Nation Under judgment" continues to receive praise from Christian and secular book reviews. Capriola has also been interviewed on American Family Radio and Twin Cities Christian Talk Radio about his new book.

"What does it mean to be one nation under God?" Capriola asks. "Do the words have value only in times of national crises." Capriola said he hopes his book will be a thought provoking journey that empowers readers to decide for themselves if our nation is moving away from God's point of view and headed toward judgment.

"A Nation Under Judgment" examines our nation's social policies from a Scriptural point of view. Social policies such as hunger, poverty, the environment, marriage and abortion are examined from a public policy and Scriptural point of view. The book also examines the role of campaign contributions versus God's point of view in shaping national policies.

Christian and secular reviews of "A Nation Under Judgment" have been impressive. For example, Heather Randall, CEO of Christian Women Affiliate said the book is "well researched and Scripturally based" and added "A Nation Under Judgment seeks to be a catalyst for inspiring believers toward deeper biblical thought regarding social policy."

Delores Liesner, a reviewer for Christian Women Affiliate wrote "Every legislator, and every believer, apologetic, preacher and evangelist needs this resource on their shelves."
