Roaring Lambs Hires Director of Special Projects -- Former National Sportscaster and PR Executive Fills New Position

DALLAS, Texas, April 18, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- As a part of the ministry's expansion plans, Roaring Lambs has hired Lisa Burkhardt Worley to fill a newly created position, Director of Special Projects.
 
Burkhardt Worley had been a regular volunteer for Roaring Lambs over the past two years. She helped start the San Antonio Roaring Lambs Chapter, co-facilitated Testimony Workshops and helped with other Roaring Lambs projects throughout the year.
 
In her new role, Burkhardt Worley will manage the growth of the Testimony Workshops nationally, assist in planning Roaring Lambs events throughout the year, including their annual Writer's Conference, scheduled July 16, 2016, Amplify Your Faith Conferences, and the Roaring Lambs Annual Banquet. Burkhardt Worley will also handle all Roaring Lambs external communication. "Roaring Lambs is excited to welcome Lisa Burkhardt Worley to our team," said Executive Director, Donna Skell. "She is a perfect example of a Roaring Lamb because she cares about the souls of others. Her communication skills will enhance our ministry as we move forward."
 
Burkhardt Worley has a strong background in leadership and communication. She was a national and local television sportscaster for 19 years with HBO Sports, ESPN, the Madison Square Garden Network and KENS-TV in San Antonio. She was also the Public Relations Manager for San Antonio International Airport for five years during the events of 9-1-1. Burkhardt Worley is also an award-winning author of three books and is a sought after speaker. She has held leadership positions in international organization Christian Women in Media and was a church Women's Ministry Leader. She earned a Masters of Theological Studies Degree in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Perkins School of Theology.
