COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 12, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Vote Anti-Abortion" will be the message from Created Equal to citizens as a voter-education campaign kicks off across the swing states of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida prior to the Presidential election. This "battleground tour" encourages voters to cast their ballot against abortion. The national pro-life advocacy group is using images of abortion victims on airplane tow banners, billboard trucks and jumbo-tron television screens. Images, confirmed by recent research, that increase voters undecided on the abortion topic to increase choosing anti-abortion candidates by up to 30%.

"Vote Anti-Abortion" begins on October 17 in Pittsburgh, rolls through Harrisburg and State College, Pennsylvania, then across Ohio through Toledo, Cincinnati, Columbus, and runs down Florida from Jacksonville to Orlando, then Tampa and St. Petersburg, ending up in Miami on November 7.

The campaign will feature rallies, banners and signs – some bearing images of abortion victims. To those who are put off by the pictures, Mark Harrington, National Director of Created Equal explains, "Recent statistical data confirms what pro-lifers have witnessed for decades: seeing abortion victims alters how individuals feel about abortion—which in turn influences how they think about abortion, including their political views."

The recent research report, A Statistical Analysis on the Effectiveness of Abortion Victim Photography was authored by Dr. Jacqueline C. Harvey, Professor of Political Science at Tarleton State University and confirms the success of these campaigns. Statistics from the research include:

  • Those identifying as completely anti-abortion increased by nearly 30%

  • Those identifying as pro-abortion decreased in their degree of support

  • There was a statistically significant gain of nearly 17% toward an anti-abortion worldview

  • Support for incremental anti-abortion gains, like gestational limits, increased substantially by 15% overall

For a concrete example this video shows that within 60 seconds a student at Columbus State Community College, changed his view on abortion after seeing abortion victim photography.

"We are facing the most important election of our lifetime. Our nation's fate and the lives of millions of preborn children hang in the balance this election," explained Harrington.  "2016 is a turning point for America. We are on the streets, on the road and in the air. Our comprehensive outreach campaign will educate thousands of voters in battleground states."

This initiative follows a successful bid targeting delegates and party leadership during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland to keep pro-life planks in the Republican Party Platform. Created Equal also confronted the attendees at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia about their party's support of barbaric abortion practices. Harrington and Created Equal believe that their convention success paves the way for a fruitful effort in this outreach.
