CHICAGO, Feb. 3, 2022 /Christian Newswire/ -- Gospelizer Dr. McCray compels believers to seek a Divine intervention that will alleviate the political crisis facing the nation. "Defiant Political Oppressors Invite a Divine Judgment" addresses crucial consequences and righteous responses when political oppression and anti-democracy practices collide with theological beliefs.

Dr. McCray writes,

"Given the uncertain state of our currently treacherous political-social affairs, the favor of a Divine retribution may ultimately become the only viable experience that can save our tottering nation from imploding and tearing itself apart at the seams."

Authentic people of faith must petition the High God to effect a special Divine judgment. Though its consequences are dire, such an intervention may be the safest and most enduring option for preserving the soul of the nation's democracy—true, just, and free.

God's gift of social-political freedom is an inherent right of humanity. Theological trajectory indicates that serious spiritual-social consequences await unrepentant political subverters. Hebrew-Christian tradition argues that social oppressors should fear God's inevitable retribution. Its "Red Sea" event (Deuteronomy 11) prophesies suffering for anti-democracy operatives who foolishly pursue political malfeasance.

Extreme Trumpism has intensified since the insurrection of January 6, 2021. Political defiance continues eroding the nation's integrity—civil, political, muti-racial, and multicultural. The national moral ethos is cancerous: upholding subversion, opposing the Select Committee's insurrection investigation; Trump pardoning offenders if elected in 2024, stoking mass protests, propagating the "Big Lie" disinformation campaign; blocking voting rights, sabotaging fair election processes—all reveal political oppression.

In such an adverse climate, Dr. McCray states that

"It is the responsibility of the oppressed to genuinely petition and engage with God . . . to secure His miraculous deliverance."
