ATLANTA, March 3, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Orange Conference, a conference for entire family ministry teams, will be held April 30--May 2, 2014, in Atlanta. Over 5,000 key influencers--senior, church planters, NextGen/family, student, children's and preschool leaders--will gather to experience the power of "Yes," and learn new insights into influencing the faith and character of the next generation. In particular, church planters will explore the growth plan too many churches miss: families.

A growing number of church planters are discovering that a strong focus on family ministry is a key to their church's long-term growth and influence. Dedicated to helping churches have a successful family ministry strategy, church planters can gather to hear the latest ideas from key voices at this unique event.

Starting a church involves so many tiny details, not to mention the tiny budget that usually comes with just starting out. This year, the Start Up Church Track at The Orange Conference will be led by Geoff Surratt, a proven leader in church planting and multi-site churches. This is a great opportunity for church planters and their teams to enjoy a conference experience together, have some fun and learn from those who have their own successes and failures.

A few of the incredible speakers that church planters will hear at this year's conference include: Andy Stanley, senior pastor of North Point Community Church; Perry Noble, founding and senior pastor of NewSpring Church; Mark Batterson, lead pastor of National Community Church; Derwin Gray, founding and lead pastor of Transformation Church; Ron Edmondson, senior pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church; Reggie Joiner, founder of Orange; Geoff Surratt, Pastor of Church Planting at Southeast Christian, and Carey Nieuwhof, lead pastor at Connexus Community Church.
