CWA's Chief Counsel to Speak for Virginia's Marriage Amendment

Contact: Stacey Holliday, Concerned Women for America, 202-488-7000 ext. 126

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Virginia Marriage Amendment is a crucial issue that will be on the ballot on November 7.  Concerned Women for America (CWA) is calling attention to four press conferences being held throughout the state in support of the amendment on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Virginia pastors, religious leaders and lawyers, including CWA Chief Counsel Jan LaRue, will take a stand for traditional one-man, one-woman marriage in their state.

LaRue will speak at the Northern Virginia location.  LaRue said, “There are lots of important reasons to vote November 7 and certainly protecting marriage is at the top.  Virginians must vote Yes on Ballot Question 1 to insure that some activist judge doesn’t create a ‘constitutional right to same-sex marriage.’”
