WASHINGTON, Jan. 19, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant, is on the run. The public continues to be horrified by last year's stunning news that the company harvests baby body parts. Not only has this led to votes in Congress to defund Planned Parenthood, but #ProtestPP inspired thousands to take to the streets in all 50 states last year.

Mark Harrington, National Director of Created Equal said,

"2015 was rough for Planned Parenthood. In 2016 we will make it even tougher for Planned Parenthood and further our quest to abolish abortion.  As a result of the undercover videos, protests at Planned Parenhood facilities are now a daily occurrence.  We won't be satisfied simply defunding Planned Parenthood.  We want to defeat Planned Parenthood and end the killing altogether."

Eric J. Scheidler, Executive Director of the Pro-Life Action League said,

"This protest in the nation's capital the day before the annual March for Life puts Planned Parenthood on notice that they can expect the protests, rallies and prayer vigils at their abortion centers to keep growing throughout 2016. The media spin, the lawsuits, the denials -- none of it can unsay the horrifying things we all heard in those undercover videos last year. Seeing such callous disregard for human life has inspired a major upsurge in pro-life activism -- a 'new normal' that Planned Parenthood will have to deal with for years to come."
