NASHVILLE, Feb. 11, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- FreQazoid.com, home of FreQ Media, launches it's seventh music channel called "Heartland." The all new positive 24/7 Country station will super serve the Country music fan that desires a more inspirational slant. "Heartland" features fan-favorite mainstream artists like Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, and Keith Urban, while also playing Christian artists Mac Powell (of Third Day), Red Roots, Brandon Heath and many others.
"In launching this particular music channel, we believe 'Heartland' will be a hit," states FreQ Media General Manager and former Radio & Records/Billboard Christian editor Rick Welke. "FreQ Media's goal is to offer up a platform for the best music by artists that fit each genre-specific outlet to music fans the world over. A few of our staff are diehard Country fans, so when the opportunity came up to bring a new Country channel to life they were extremely excited and heavily involved in the process."
Welke continues, "We believe we have a great new blend of Country music that will be a new standard for the genre to listeners young and old alike. 'Heartland' fits well into our growing list of quality stations and represents what is great about Country music – God, country, and family, all in the heartland of America."
As with all FreQazoid.com channels, "Heartland" is a family friendly media outlet. It will also champion new music and fresh new artists whenever possible. "Heartland" joins the lineup of other FreQ Media channels including "Glow" (electronic/pop), Organic (folk/acoustic), Boom (hip-hop/R&B), iShine (Christian Hits/pop), Vertical (worship), and Retro Rock. The organization has also partnered with many Christian festivals around the USA in offering up seasonal festival-specific audio programming for their attendees, including Creation, Sonshine, Unity Fest, and Audio Feed, to name a few.
All of FreQ Media's music channels can be heard on various radio outlets, including FreQazoid.com and TuneIn.com. Listeners can also catch FreQ Media's stations through the TuneIn smartphone app, and on TV sets across America through the Roku box and Google's Chromecast via TuneIn's music app, all for free.
