MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho, Sept. 15, 2026 /Christian Newswire/ — Author Bobby Paul will release The Jesus Revival: A Call to Return, Unite and Live Like Jesus on September 20, 2026, the same date as National Back to Church Sunday.
The independent release is not affiliated with or endorsed by National Back to Church Sunday. Bobby Paul chose the date because he believes the book’s message fits a time when people are searching for something more, returning to God and looking for something real in their faith.
The Jesus Revival focuses on prayer, Scripture, forgiveness, division, hate, unity, finding peace through prayer, living the Word instead of simply reading it, and following Jesus in everyday life.
“I’m a learner, not a teacher,” Bobby Paul said. “I’m not a pastor, and I don’t claim to have all the answers. I’m writing from things that have happened in my own life, mistakes I’ve made, lessons I’ve learned and how I found my way back to God.”
The central message is simple:
“Revival starts with you.”
Bobby Paul encourages readers to look at themselves before worrying about changing everybody else—to pray, forgive, love people, help somebody and bring God back into their homes and everyday lives.
Each chapter includes a study and reflection section called “Planting the Seed,” with questions readers can think about, write down and discuss with family, friends, Bible studies, Sunday school classes, churches or small groups.
Each chapter also leaves readers with “Our Seed From This Chapter,” something to carry forward and put into practice. After every five chapters, a Jesus Revival Checkpoint brings those seeds together and encourages readers to reflect on what they have learned and what may need to change.
“I didn’t want this to be a book somebody reads and puts back on the shelf,” Bobby Paul said. “I want people talking about it, learning from each other, planting those seeds and seeing where God takes them.”
The Jesus Revival is Book One in The Jesus Revival Series and is published by Light the Way Publishing LLC.
The book releases September 20 and will be available on Amazon, through IngramSpark’s bookseller and library distribution network, and through BobbyPaulBooks.com.
