EL CAJON, Calif., Sept. 8, 2026 /Christian Newswire/ — Songwriter and recording artist John Pape has released his new song, “The Road,” now available on major digital music and streaming platforms.
Inspired by the Bible verses commonly known as the Romans Road, “The Road” uses the image of traveling down a road to tell the story of salvation. The song takes listeners on a journey from sin and separation from God to the cross, salvation, and new life through Jesus Christ.
The song blends contemporary pop-rock feel with the Gospel message. Its foundation includes inspiration from the Roman Road passages. Together, these passages explain humanity’s need for salvation, Christ’s sacrifice, and the promise of salvation through faith in Him.
“The message of the Romans Road has helped people understand God’s plan of salvation,” said Pape. “I wanted to tell that story through music by using the idea of a road as a spiritual journey.
