ATLANTA, Sept. 3, 2026 /Christian Newswire/ — Alveda King Ministries has joined the Nehemiah Alliance’s 52-Day Rebuild Initiative, a global call to prayer, fasting and repentance. The announcement coincides with the release of a new edition of King’s “America, Return to God,” available on Amazon beginning Sept. 1.
The 52-day initiative will run from sundown Sept. 10 through sundown Nov. 1, bringing together participants from all 50 states and more than 100 nations. Modeled on the Book of Nehemiah, in which Nehemiah rebuilds Jerusalem’s walls in 52 days, the movement encourages government leaders and Christ followers to help rebuild spiritual “walls of blessing and protection” across America through prayer.
The Rebuild will culminate on Reformation Day, Oct. 31, with a Sacred Assembly on the National Mall in Washington. The gathering will feature a day of unified prayer and worship. It also will be livestreamed worldwide. Watch the livestream. (https://na52.org/).
“This ‘Nehemiah Movement’ is a clarion call to every generation to repent and unite in faith and love, in Christ; as one blood, one human race.” ~ Dr. Alveda King
King’s newly expanded America 250 Anniversary Edition of “America, Return to God” also draws on the biblical account of Nehemiah and explores faith, prayer, repentance and the nation’s spiritual foundations. King explains, “It is an honor to have Barbara Ann Jeter write the new forward for the book.”
“America, Return to God: America 250 Anniversary Edition” will be available through Amazon beginning Sept. 1. To learn more or to purchase the book, visit Amazon.
