CHOCOWINITY, N.C., Nov. 18, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rev. Mary Newell Morton, developer of PutGodFirst.net and editor of Living Life ... Putting God First eMagazine, announces that she will donate 40% of commissions earned from November and December sales through PartnerMall.PutGodFirst.net to Global Aid Network™ (GAiN)™.

"I realize that people are going to shop for gifts this season. I'm providing a way for them to do that while also benefitting others around the world," says Rev. Morton, "I'm hopeful that folks will take advantage of this opportunity. My goal is to raise at least $5000 for Global Aid Network™." Rev. Morton has entered into internet affiliate agreements with retailers whose wares include: Bibles, religious goods, books, electronics, clothing, accessories, gifts, and sporting goods, among others. Major retailing outlets are represented across the spectrum of available wares. When people shop through the Partner Mall Rev. Morton receives an affiliate commission on the amount of those sales; she is donating 40% of those commissions to GAiN™, another 5% to Church World Services and 5% to The Wounded Warrior Project.

Currently GAiN™ is working to provide aid to people in the Horn of Africa and Haiti, two regions of the world that are experiencing great poverty and famine due to natural disasters. The aid that is provided by Global Aid Network™ includes life-saving food at a cost of 25 cents per meal, medical supplies, water filters, blankets and clothing. They rely upon the generosity of individuals and organizations to provide the financial resources needed to accomplish the humanitarian efforts they undertake around the world. GAiN™ is a Christian organization that was founded by Josh McDowell and is affiliated with Campus Crusade for Christ. More information about GAiN™ may be found in the December issue of "Living Life ... Putting God First" eMagazine, a free publication which will be available online at PutGodFirst.net beginning November 27 or at www.GainUSA.org.
