MEDIA ADVISORY, June 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Lucas Till, known to the myriad fans of Hannah Montana: The Movie (also, in Taylor Swift's newest music video) takes a serious turn as Justin, a lost boy in The Lost and Found Family, a wonderful new DVD from Provident Films and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The Lost and Found Family is the story of people without anchors, starting with Ester Hobbes, for 30 years the happy wife of a wealthy man. Before he can stabilize a financial deal gone sour, her husband dies, leaving Ester with only an old house somewhere in Georgia.

Ester and Justin cross paths when she moves into the Georgia house to sell it--into rooms already inhabited by two parents and a foster brood as ramshackle and mismatched as the place itself. Justin, a "wounded hero," misunderstood and angry, is joined by Jessica Luza as teens in the foster family.

The Lost and Found Family is directed by Emmy-nominated television and film producer Barnet Bain (What Dreams May Come, The Linda McCartney Story). The DVD debuts nationally on Sept. 15, 2009.

Audiences familiar with foster care or widowhood--or with the universal feelings of being lost and lonely--will identify with the characters in this movie about new families formed through love and trust. Groups specializing in outreach to teens, the bereaved, or anyone needing to come in from the margins will find a rich story and grounds for important conversations. Any family will find The Lost and Found Family an evening enjoyably spent.
