ORLANDO, Florida, June 26 /Christian Newswire/ -- Saturday June 30, 2007 at Lake Eola Amphitheatre in Downtown Orlando, FL from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The theme of the First Annual Lake Eola Prayer Vigil is "Adam Where Art Thou!" We are calling all men to lead in prayer, standing together and taking our rightful position as the men God intended us to be. We are calling all men and their sons (along with a flashlight) to join us.

It is our mission to lead men back to church for godly instruction and support on how to lead themselves, families, community and the world. We believe as we unite the men in our city, it will influence, change and impact the "fiber" of the community. It is referenced in Ecclesiastes 4:9, that "Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return on their labor". We believe that as we stand collectively in the community under the same mission, we can promote positive change both individually and corporately. We recognize that, "…five of us can chase a hundred and a hundred can put ten thousand to flight; our enemies shall fall before us. (Leviticus 26:8)".

Our tentative schedule of the event is as follows:

6:00 p.m. - Praise & Worship

6:30 p.m. - Welcome Address

7:00 p.m. - Guest Speakers

8:30 p.m. - Closing Prayer with Flashlights

Please note that someone from our Men's Ministry will follow up with you regarding the event. As a ministry we understand that there is strength in numbers when you are serving one God with one mission! Therefore, we are gracefully requesting your coverage for this event, as we place a demand on God and the "Men in the City" to return us to our rightful positions.

If you should have any questions, please contact our church office at 407-298-5770. We look forward to seeing you!
