WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 /Christian Newswire/ -- Concerned Women for America (CWA) is thrilled to announce the selection of Sancha Haysbert-Smith as State Director for Louisiana.  Sancha has extensive experience in serving the public.  She is known for her recent work in CWA as Legislative Liaison and Abstinence Issues Expert.  Also, Sancha has served as Executive Director of Daughter's of Destiny Ministries.

Sancha became a CWA State Director because she believes in promoting Biblical principles in public policy.  "Some of my goals for the area include educating, equipping, empowering and encouraging the citizens of Louisiana, making them responsive to and responsible for the moral climate of the state" said Sancha Haysbert-Smith, Director of CWA Louisiana.  

As Louisiana's new State/Area Director, Sancha will work with the nearly 3,000 members in the state to build additional Prayer/Action Chapters and coordinate CWA's grassroots activities in legislation and media.  CWA's goals are to preserve the eternal values that support the Biblical design of the family, protect life at all stages, fight pornography and obscenity, tackle the declining quality of education, support the rights of individuals to pray and worship without persecution and increase understanding of the United Nations and its agenda.
