PASSAIC, N.J., March 23, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic has been in the community for 12 years and has made a significant impact. Through its free English as a Second Language classes, Vacation Bible School, marriage and family counseling, coat drives and on-going food pantry, many people have and continue to benefit. A fundraiser is held each year to support these services. "A Season of Hope" is this year's theme for the Annual Spectacular Fundraiser Banquet. The event will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at The Bethwood, located at 38 Lackawanna Avenue in Totowa, NJ. Special guest artists, a silent auction, door prizes, great food and fellowship will be on the program. Funds raised will support the aforementioned services as well as new scholarships for qualified high school students and phase one of the CJC Hope House. This safe haven for single women with children who are in a transitional period in their life will benefit many.

Bishop B.C. Hibbert, Ph.D. says: "During these very uncertain times, the people of the community need to know that there is hope. Each year, we remind them that Church of Jesus Christ of Passaic is here to serve them as we attempt to meet some of their needs throughout the year. We are grateful that businesses, families, individuals and church leaders from near and far come out to support this great cause."
