Demonstration Re. GOP Leadership's Treachery on Planned Parenthood and Obamacare Funding in the Proposed 3 Week Continuing Resolution

Christian Newswire/ -- Randall Terry and Prolife Activists will be at the US Capitol on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the intersection of New Jersey and Independence Aves to hold a demonstration and speak with the press regarding the vote on the proposed 3 week Continuing Resolution that is expected to take place around 12 noon. This CR includes funding for "criminal syndicate" Planned Parenthood and Obamacare.

Mr. Terry and his associates have been holding demonstrations at Mr. Boehner's offices in DC and Ohio, including a protest on February 23 in which six pro-lifers were arrested to draw attention to Mr. Boehner's duplicity.
Mr. Terry states:
"Pro-life congressmen in the House can be clear to the House Leadership: 'Defunding Planned Parenthood and child-killing in Obamacare is non-negotiable. Period. We will vote against any continuing resolution that funds Planned Parenthood; we will not cave in to the hissing of PP, the fear of bad press, the taunts of Senate Democrats, or even our own misguided Leadership on this point.
"The duty of pro-life voters is equally clear: we must tell the pro-life members of the House that they must vote against any continuing resolution that restores funding to this Goliath. This is non-negotiable. That means that we -- pro-lifers -- cannot give these 'pro-life' House members a pass if they fail in their duty; we cannot go along with the ruse that if they fail it is because 'the Senate wouldn't go along with them.' If we lose, it will be because those in the House that say they are pro-life failed in their duty.
"If pro-life House Members fail in their duty to the babies, and vote for money to go to Planned Parenthood and child-killing in Obamacare, then they will have sided with child killing members of the House and with Planned Parenthood itself, not with the babies. In the next election, we must be deal with them as those who have betrayed their sacred duty to God, the babies, and to us. That is what 'non-negotiable' means."
