'Answers in Genesis' Programming Coming to the NRB Network

Contact: Troy Miller, Senior VP/Chief Operating Officer, NRB Network, 615-469-1721

MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- The NRB Network announced a new lineup for the Tuesday 9:00 p.m. (ET) hour. "Answers Creation Hour" will feature programs developed by Answers in Genesis (AiG). The programs will be part of the NRB Network's Tuesday night Nature/Science Night. AiG programs teach that "facts" don't speak for themselves, but must be interpreted. That is, evolution and creation don't have separate sets of "evidences." We all deal with the same evidence (we all live on the same earth, have the same fossils, observe the same animals, etc.). The difference lies in how we interpret what we study.

The "Answers Creation Hour" will kick off Tuesday night, February 19th as part of the NRB Network's new spring lineup.

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. They focus particularly on providing answers to questions about the book of Genesis, as it is the most attacked book of the Bible. Their desire is to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellows, a "millions-of-years-old" earth, and an even older universe.

NRB Network broadcasts on DIRECTV channel 378. DIRECTV (www.DIRECTV.com) has over 16 million subscribers, making it the nation's leading and fastest-growing digital multi-channel satellite television service provider in both residential and commercial markets. The NRB Network is included in DIRECTV's base package, TOTAL CHOICE, making it available to all DIRECTV subscribers.
NRB Network is a unique Christian television experience, and a "revolution" in a way, being the first of its kind to provide "genre" blocks of programming slotted in specific times of day to meet the needs of the viewing audience.
