AUSTIN, TX, Aug. 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Founders Alliance announces the delivery of its Contract with Texans to elected state officials in Texas for their signature. The contract is the work of this new organization that intends to hold elected officials accountable to the US Constitution by the involvement of a network of concerned citizens through advocacy, communication and media productions.
A formal signing ceremony and news conference is scheduled at the Texas Capitol south steps on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 10am. The event will be uplinked live and available to broadcasters. Coordinates are included below.
The Founders Alliance is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that is a grassroots movement dedicated to reinstating the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. The organization's purpose is to seek accountability from our elected leaders, legislation repealing federal tyranny, and the cultivation of a truly informed electorate.
