WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christianity Today's online editor, Sarah Pulliam, will report live from the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. Friday and Saturday, September 13 and 14.

The Family Research Council will host the political convention for conservative voters with "shared values." The summit drew John McCain and the other major Republican presidential candidates last year.

"Many evangelicals were thrilled with Sarah Palin's vice presidential nomination, but they may not be fired up enough to turn out enough votes to sway the election," Pulliam said. "The Values Voter Summit will be a telling barometer of whether they can mobilize as a group behind one candidate."

Pulliam reported live at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and has been writing about evangelicals and the election for the past year. She liveblogs events, interviews experts, and gives analysis. Follow her daily reports from the Summit here: http://blog.christianitytoday.com/ctpolitics/

Pulliam is available for interviews at the site of the Summit in Washington, D.C.
