Helping Christian Business Survive, Thrive, Goals of New Marketplace Network

Contact: Tim Marttala, CEO, DoveDominion, Inc., 775-247-8204

FALLON, Nevada, Aug. 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- According to some studies, approximately 95% of businesses fail within ten years. In an effort to help businesses and professionals counter such statistics through building connections and cooperation, a business and professional network, Christian Commerce Connection, has formed to develop Christian networking in locations in which it does not currently exist, and to compliment and improve it where it does exist. The network operates through its website, ChristianCommerceConnection.com, and through local groups organizing throughout the United States, Canada, and internationally.

"Networking has long been known by businesspersons and professionals as one of the most effective methods of making vital business and professional connections," said Tim Marttala, CEO of DoveDominion, Inc., provider of Christian Commerce Connection. "Networking among Christians to-date has largely been piecemeal, fragmented, and generally unorganized," Marttala continued, "and we will strive to improve that situation, to develop strength in numbers so businesses not only survive, but thrive, and to build bridges of Christian unity following the principle of 'United We Stand, Divided We Fall.'"

When asked to define what networking is, Marttala replied, "Networking is all about building business and professional relationships and connections, and then leveraging those connections, preferably in a win-win, give-and-take manner so that everybody benefits."

Marttala defined networking further, "Besides being a natural source of referrals, leads, and mutual business, as well as a connecting point for 'piggybacking' on each other's products, services, and customer bases, networking provides many free benefits that are often expensive outside of networking, such as serving as each other's focus groups, research and development consultants, advisory boards, motivational coaches, marketing and advertising departments, and many other free services that members provide for each other simply by connecting through a networking group like Christian Commerce Connection."

Marttala concluded, "If we are united, we will stand, and so we encourage every Christian businessperson and professional to, as Hebrews 10:25 tells us '...[to] not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another...,' and to do so through this 'Christian networking hub,' as we pray it truly will be."
