BROOKLYN PARK, Minn., Feb. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- In her enlightening, new biblical history book, Thieves in the Kingdom, Ellen Burgoyne seeks to shed light on some of the most important and least understood issues and events of the Bible and how these subjects affect readers today.

Thieves in the Kingdom details the events that occurred before and after the fall of man, including the rebellion of Satan, the creation of mankind, the deception of Adam and Eve, and events leading up to the Great Tribulation and God's final judgment. She also speaks on myriad of other issues that are more specific in regards to God, heaven, angels, demons, gender roles, sin, salvation and Jesus Christ.

Burgoyne makes a concerted effort to apply the lessons and principles of the Bible to past, present and future, including issues of men and women in positions of authority, religion, politics and war. Israel, Jerusalem, the role of government, social freedom and political correctness in the light of responsibility to God are also covered.

Thieves in the Kingdom is an unexpectedly thrilling Biblical history book. Burgoyne accomplished this feat by connecting thoughtful, profound analysis to current topics and issues that readers confront in their daily lives.

Burgoyne's book speaks to the heart of life and also to what is to come for all of us. "It is a book that comes at a time when the world needs to stop and think about what they are doing, about what they need to do and especially of what God is going to do," says Burgoyne.
