MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 11, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- The multinational PRO-LIFE NOVENA FOR UNBORN BABIES (September 29th - October 7th) is presently scheduled to have 29,983 Masses offered and 636,138 Rosaries prayed for the following intention:  For the protection of unborn human persons.  This annual novena is coordinated by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization of Memphis, Tennessee (U.S.A.).

"The PRO-LIFE NOVENA FOR UNBORN BABIES has been greatly blessed by God," said Patrick Benedict, spokesman for the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization.

"Regarding the number of Masses and the number of Rosaries registered for this pro-life intention, both numbers are by far the largest ever in the history of the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization.

"With that stated, I think it is safe to say that the great majority of Catholics throughout the world are totally unaware that the September 29th - October 7th PRO-LIFE NOVENA FOR UNBORN BABIES is about to happen.  Thankfully, there is still time to get the word out.  I greatly encourage everyone to not only be a part of this, but to also let other people know about the PRO-LIFE NOVENA FOR UNBORN BABIES."

Information about how to register for the Novena, how to promote the Novena, etc. is available at the website www.SaintMichaelTheArchangelOrganization.org . A person may also request such information by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Saint Michael the Archangel Organization; P. O. Box 41257; Memphis, TN  38174; U.S.A. (a stamped envelope is only necessary for persons living in the U.S.A.).

The vast majority of registrations for both Masses and Rosaries has come from persons associated with the Sisters of Mary who are in South Korea, Mexico, Philippines and Brazil.

"Over a billion unborn human persons (and perhaps billions) have been killed throughout the world within the last fifty or so years," continued Benedict.  "Each one of us can ask ourselves the same question: What am I doing to stop the greatest massacre in the history of mankind?

"I very much appreciate each person who has scheduled to have the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for the protection of unborn human persons and/or is planning to pray nine consecutive Rosaries for the same intention.  Within the next two weeks or so, I hope a great multitude of additional people will do the same," concluded Benedict.
