Socialist Jim Wallis Exposed

MEDIA ADVISORY, March 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- During the last few weeks, some in the media have exposed Jim Wallis, socialist advisor to President Barack Obama. UndergroundNews.us has been doing this for months.

Wallis has a big impact on the evangelical world. He is the founder of Sojourners magazine that advocates social justice and he is on the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Last week, Wallis joined religious leaders to endorse the health care bill before it was voted on. However, pro-life groups believe this bill will increase abortions over time by using federal funding.

Evangelicals are afraid to speak out against Wallis because his beliefs are accepted as the truth. His impact on the church is enormous. For example, World Vision's Richard Stearns has given Wallis his endorsement.

In a recent Washington Post interview, Stearns said “I don't know if it's too extreme to say, but I think we're in a new era of concern about social justice in the evangelical church”. In the interview, he agrees with Wallis.

Wallis has bashed 'right wing' Christian conservatives for years. He has caricatured them to the point where many evangelicals believe him. However, the vast majority of Christian conservatives are decent people who believe that without Christ a person will not spend eternity in heaven.

UndergroundNews.us president Steve McConkey says, "The problem with Wallis and many in the evangelical church is that Christians are not encouraged to share the gospel with non-believers as they do their good works. Helping a person without telling them that there is only one way is giving them temporary bread and not the Bread of Life. Additionally, the 2500 Bible verses on poverty do not mention that the government should re-distribute the wealth of people."

UndergroundNews.us research has uncovered that there are 42 million abortion deaths worldwide per year, 9 for starvation, 3 for AIDS, and 0 for global warming. Nearly 70% of unnecessary deaths are abortion related. Most churches promote causes other than abortion as the church has become politically correct.

Wallis indirectly supports abortion even though he would deny this. If he is for the common good of the people, he would bring more attention to the abortion problem and abandon his socialistic push in the church.
