Drake Drops Case in Drake v Obama and Announces He is Taking his Case Directly to the People

Contact: Mark Rafter, Campaign Manager, 714-828-9009

BUENA PARK, Calif., Feb. 14, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Pastor Wiley S. Drake informed his attorney last last night that he did not wish to pursue taking the case to SCOTUS.

"When I ran for Vice President in 2008, I believed that there was serious evidence that Mr. Obama was not born in this country and his election violated the Constitution. We followed the law and filed suit and the court denied us the ability to present the evidence. I do not believe the courts in America are Courts of Justice. Therefore, I am dropping my lawsuit with Mr. Obama and taking my case directly to the people so that I can create common sense solutions that will get results to fortify our country with integrity and strength. I am announcing that I will run a National Write-In Campaign for President of the United States.

"I watched how the courts overturned the Prop 8 and the will of the people. If we are truly a government of the people, by the people and for the people then we must have term limits on all branches of government.

"If I am elected one of the first things I will do is propose term limits on federal judges. We have 2 years for Congressmen, 4 years terms for President. 6 years for a Senator but no limit on federal judges. They are appointed for life. I propose 10 year term limits on federal judges and then they must run for re-election directly by the people. I will propose recalls for those who engage in judicial activism from the bench."
