EL CENTRO, Calif., May 4, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- On her most recent leg of her "Peace and Justice Tour," while promoting her latest book KING RULES, Dr. Alveda King, Director of African American Outreach for Priests for Life is stopping to pray with concerned citizens in El Centro. "There are many "Macedonian Calls" lately, asking me and my team to come over and pray about current events and pressing concerns. Most recently, we are stopping in El Centro to address a strange dichotomy. There is a disconnect in the community that must be addressed in prayer."

King is speaking of the planned opening of an El Centro Planned Parenthood facility near the Mexico border. "Everyone knows that Planned Parenthood is after money, offering abortion and harmful byproducts; and in that process they target the most vulnerable American women and families; Latinos and African Americans. Now they are after the women of Mexicali and their babies, because they are easy prey to their lies that they offer 'safe, legal and rare' abortions. These women don't need death care, they need help. Pregnancy care centers, adoption and agape love are available in El Centro. Families just need to know where to look."

The outspoken evangelist is on an "extended tour" to promote peace, justice and "righteous civil rights." She explains how her book KING RULES offers solutions to the unrest that is beleaguering our nation and the world. "KING RULES is a gift to our nation and the world, with real life examples from the family of my famous Uncle MLK about how to overcome the challenges of living in today's world."

Pointing to the opening of the new MLK Sports Pavilion and the anticipated opening of a new Planned Parenthood, both in El Centro, King said: "The MLK Pavilion offers help for the youth of the community, while the Planned Parenthood facility offers death."

Making a word play on the caption of the MLK Sports Pavilion announcement: "DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. SPORTS PAVILION OPENS, TIME TO PLAY" FROM A December 12, 2014 press release, Alveda says: "The Pavilion is open, now it's time to pray that Planned Parenthood doesn't move in with its well planned killing machine. Please don't allow the leaders in El Centro, or anyone for that matter, whether it's ISIS, race riots in Ferguson and Baltimore, or anywhere; don't let anyone use the name and legacy of Uncle MLK to promote death. He was a man of God.

"As to El Centro, they can't open a gym on one side and a killing mill on the other. That's not civil rights. That's a civil wrong. True Civil Rights begins at conception in the womb and should end with natural death."

While in El Centro, Alveda will be discussing her books and praying with members of the local prolife community.
