ESPN and Top Sports Organizations Join the Pagan Olympic Movement?

MADISON, Wis., April 21, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- ESPN fired Curt Schilling over his transgender comments. Top sports organizations threaten to leave states that pass bills protecting Christians who oppose gay marriage. Most state high school associations approve of transgenders using any locker room they chose.

Is modern sports sinking to the level of immorality that was prevalent during the ancient Olympics? Naked athletes performing. Hundreds of prostitutes available, both women and boys. Parties went through the night to early morning.

Pedophilia was common in those ancient societies. Men used young males for sexual pleasure. The church eventually put an end to the Olympics because of these pagan practices, including honoring false Greek gods like Zeus. Will the new transgender bathroom policies open the door for pedophiles?

In 2003, 4 Winds Christian Athletics president Steve McConkey started protesting the inclusion of transgenders in the Olympics to no avail. Now, the Olympics will allow transgenders in without sexual reassignment surgery, just hormone therapy, despite science saying it takes years to reverse the muscle and bone advantages of a male who wants to be a female.

McConkey has also fought every sports organization in their promotion of homosexuality, including opening the door to transgenders. He has taken on the NFL, NBA, MLB, and the NCAA. Also, he opposed Bruce Jenner because he knew he would be used as a poster person for the transgender movement.

"We are living in a time where immorality is increasing at a rapid rate," states McConkey. "God's morals never change. No matter what a society does, including the Greek, Roman, or the American culture, God's morals still stand. This is a time for Christians to share those morals despite opposition and possible legal action."

Steve McConkey is the president of 4 WINDS (4 Winds Christian Athletics), a sports ministry that stands up for Christian athletes. Steve regularly appears on worldwide radio and is frequently quoted in articles throughout the world. He has a Master of Public Health from Western Kentucky University with honors and a BS-Public Health from Minnesota State University, Mankato with honors. Steve and his wife started in world-class track and field ministries in 1981 and expanded to all sports in 2014. Steve was born in Des Moines, Iowa, but moved to NW Wisconsin after the sixth grade. He became a Christian after reading the Bible as an undergraduate. 4 WINDS produces BigPlanetWatch.com and TrackandFieldReport.com.
