SAN DIEGO, Calif., Dec. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- An international coalition of Christ followers and Christian leaders, known as the 4/14 Window Movement, have partnered together to launch Global 4/14 Day on April 14, 2012, the group announced in a statement released this morning.

"Global 4/14 Day will become an annual day of prayer and fasting," said Steve Karges, coordinator of the event. "The focus of our prayers on April 14 will be for children in the 4/14 Window," Karges continued, "and we invite Christians worldwide to join the movement and pray."

A new website, www.Global414Day.com, which is now online and available in multiple languages, was constructed to inform and invite people to participate.

"The 4/14 Window refers to all children between the ages of 4 to 14," Karges explained. "During this decade or 'window,' most children in this demographic develop their moral and spiritual foundations."
