SHARPTOWN, Md., April 13, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian Walk Alive (CWA) announces the campaign for their next feature film about spiritual warfare, For Such a Time. Christian movies have become popular in the last few years, but have largely not covered more than a few topics and have been mostly dramas. Yet there are still a lot of areas to be explored and spiritual warfare is a topic that many Christians are excited to learn more about.

Christian audiences are looking for authentic Christian movies as well as exciting films. For Such a Time will be both. It will also appeal to larger audiences because the general public has shown a lot of interest in all things spiritual, especially angels.

This film will be authentic because it is being made by Christians who understand that Christians want a message that is true to what they believe. It will be exciting because it's not your typical drama but a sci-fi thriller that will keep the action moving. With dozens of secular films and TV shows about angels in just the last few years alone, there is definitely a market for this kind of film. While this movie will stay true to what the Bible says on the topic, it will also show the battle that we really face but rarely see.

This will be CWA's third film. The first film was a feature about forgiveness made in 2012 called Homecoming. The second film, Masquerade is a short film about being real in a world that seems to be full of phonies. Masquerade raised $15,000 via kickstarter two years ago and will be released this year as a DVD Bible study by BMG, a Christian distribution company.

This campaign is live on Kickstarter until May 9th. The goal is to raise $117,000. The project can be found at www.kickstartthebattle.com.
