WASHINGTON, June 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- Democrats For Life of America announced today that former Ohio Congressman Tony Hall would receive the 2007 Hall of Fame Award at their annual conference and dinner on the evening of June 20th.

"Ambassador Tony Hall is a dedicated public servant who has earned our deepest respect.  As a Congressman, Ambassador, and individual, he is an inspiration to those of us who believe in protecting life at all stages.   His advocacy for the unborn, the hungry, victims of human rights abuses and other life issues is heroic. That's why we're honored to be giving this award to him next week," said Kristen Day, Executive Director of Democrats For Life of America.

The conference will include several speakers to talk about critically important topics including an update on the status of the Pregnant Woman Support Act, information sessions on restricting and regulating abortion, and discussions on poverty, the death penalty, human trafficking, and civil and international conflicts.
