Stacy Carlson was the sole speechwriter to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson from May 2007 until January 20, 2009. She wrote about top issues, including taxes, housing, China and the 2008 financial crisis. Prior to that, Ms. Carlson had been a lender, manager and executive at three national commercial banks and a public policy advisor at a major law firm.
