GREENVILLE, SC, Nov. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- According to the National Women's Health Resource Center, two out of three women experience holiday depression. One national Christian counseling ministry is offering free downloadable web resources to help women transform that depression into deep joy.

"Many women are focused on just 'making it through' the holidays," says Laura Baker, Executive Director for Prasso Ministries, "I want them to know that there is an alternative to dragging themselves through yet another holiday season."

Prasso Ministries was started in 1992 in response to Baker's observation that many Christians are broken down by the trials of life despite professing a strong faith. Today, Prasso Ministries offers the hope and encouragement that comes straight from Scripture, to restore people's spirit and give them the chance to rediscover life's joys.

"This holiday season, Prasso Ministries is offering specific tools so women can do more than just survive the holidays;" says Baker, "They truly can rejoice through the holidays." The tools are available on the Prasso website at www.myprasso.com and include a four-part video series about holiday depression, a Bible study lesson which addresses how God's love and forgiveness can move people Beyond the Tears, and the opportunity to purchase the entire Prasso Bible study manual.

"The Prasso Bible study is a resource that teaches how to practice God's Word in your daily life," says Baker. "While there is no quick fix for depression, there is comfort and restoration through the Scripture."
