Churches Rededicate the USA to God on July 3rd

MEDIA ADVISORY, June 22, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Churches across the USA will rededicate the USA to God in their Sunday services on July 3rd. "As the USA draws near to God, God will draw near to the USA," says Pastor Steven Andrew, author of "Making A Strong Christian Nation."

Congregations both Protestant and Catholic are invited to participate in the national covenant prayer. This patriotic God and Country affirmation is a reminder of our Founding Fathers. John Adams said the Fourth of July "ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty."

USA Christian Ministries has free resources available. There is a handout and a church bulletin insert for participants to pray as a congregation and to put on their desks and refrigerators at home.
