New Site Features Innovative Resources for Christian Mindfulness

Contact: Scott Daniels, 715-529-7683

EAU CLAIRE, Wis., Feb. 16, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Rest That Works Ministries, LLC has launched a new interactive website and blog featuring innovative resources for Christian mindfulness. The site's content is based on a practical form of prayer and meditation pioneered by RTW Ministries founder, the Rev. Scott Daniels, called "the rest that works."

"Anyone seeking greater spiritual health and vitality can find help on our site, starting from the moment they open the homepage," Mr. Daniels said. He added: "Through the resources we offer, particularly the weekly blog, we give visitors an opportunity to develop practices that enhance spiritual vitality and healthy relationships with God and others." Mr. Daniels said that participants have called "the rest that works" a "path to the present moment through God's love."

Mr. Daniels is author of "The Rest That Works: Living a Life of Loving Mindfulness" (Rider Green/RTW Press, 2015) and director of The Center, an interfaith retreat based in Eau Claire, WI. His book has been praised for its "revolutionary simplicity" for living a spiritually fulfilling life. Through his new website/blog, Mr. Daniels says, people living with spiritual pain and confusion can

  • see themselves in contemporary real-life situations and stories, reassuring them that they are not alone;

  • learn personalized, practical ideas that can be put to immediate use; and

  • experience a "rest in God" that leads to healing and increased vitality.

He pointed out that subscribing to "the rest that works" blog is free and that visitors to the website can receive discounts on his books.
