Christian Newswire/ -- The 8th Annual Sabbath Keeper Convention is part of the national movement of churches across America who worship on the 7th Day Sabbath. The convention will be at the Sheraton Columbia Town Center in Columbia, MD. Starting July 10th at 2:00pm ( registration check-in) and ends after closing ceremony, Sunday , July 12, 2015 at 12:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Sabbath Keeper Convention (
www.sabbathkeeperconvention.org) is an initiative that is inviting America to fellowship with anointed, purpose driven and talented Sabbath Keepers from all walks of life who are interested in the Sabbath Keeping Movement as well as networking opportunities within the body of Jesus Christ.
Offering praise & worship, a fellowship lunch, convocational meetings, along with mass choir participation, workshops for health & wellness, including seminars for men, women and youth along with continuing education units from the Faith Christian University. Additional aspects include youth activities, vendor exhibits, and a Gospel Extravaganza Friday night July 10th as well as a Fashion Show & Gala and a Youth Gospel Jam on Saturday night July 11th.
The Sabbath Keeper Convention was launched in 2008 since it's inception in Chesapeake, VA has continue to thrive and grow. It has traveled throughout the country from Tennessee, Washington DC, and Florida now with this year being in Baltimore, MD
we welcome friends, family and churches near and far to join in this joyous occasion. Our theme is "Spirit of the Living God, Fall Fresh on Me" said Pastor Daniel Murray of Philadelphia Church of Christ-Baltimore, MD the host church of this year's event.
About 300-500 participates are expected to attend from several states. This year's keynote speaker is Evangelist F.C. Fisher of Zion Church of Christ-Sanford, FL.
