Consultant Admits Getting Baby Parts is a 'Game'

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 30, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- Last week during the civil trial in the San Francisco Federal District Court, an abortion consultant admitted that procuring intact baby body parts is a risky "game" because abortionists will change procedures to obtain more intact organs from aborted babies.

Ruth Arick, owner of Choice Pursuits in Daytona Beach, Florida, "trains staff in abortion facilities across the country - customer service, counseling, communication skills, and service delivery."

Jurors heard a taped conversation between Arick and Liberty Counsel's client Sandra Merritt recorded at an Association of Reproductive Health Professionals convention in 2013.

Arick said, "Now, a lot of places, not a lot, some researchers are looking for whole fetuses, in the earlier stages, so you over-dilate, you try to be able to extract an entire fetus through your cannula, but then again, the over-dilation can be a risk to the woman, so you know, it's a game."

Arick also advised Merritt that to obtain baby body parts, she recommended placing an employee inside the abortion center.

"If you're looking for the organs, you've got to be able to do that, and separate them, and get 'em in the right kind of stuff, and then off they go," Arick said.

Previously during the civil trial, Liberty Counsel was finally permitted to show a four and one-half minute video clip of former Planned Parenthood Federation of America's senior director of medical services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admitting she changes the position of the baby to breech to obtain an intact heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and brain.

The federal judge originally prevented Liberty Counsel's legal team from showing the videos which form the basis of the lawsuit. Judge Orrick told the Planned Parenthood attorneys that so long as their witnesses did not discuss details of the videos, they could not be shown. During her direct examination by Planned Parenthood attorneys, Dr. Nucatola opened the door for Liberty Counsel's legal team to show the video.

In the video of her conversation at a public restaurant in Los Angeles, Nucatola described using ultrasound guidance to flip a baby in the womb to feet-first breech position, in order to extract the baby intact and harvest whole, fresh organs.

Nucatola said, "And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it's not vertex, because when it's vertex presentation, you never have enough dilation at the beginning of the case, unless you have real, huge amount of dilation to deliver an intact calvarium. So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there's dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end...And, we've been pretty successful with that. I'd say."

Liberty Counsel is defending Sandra Merritt against Planned Parenthood's civil lawsuit seeking millions of dollars as punishment for her undercover investigation, which exposed the largest abortion mill's trafficking in human baby body parts.

The civil trial resumes tomorrow in the San Francisco Court.

"While our legal team has labored under restrictive rulings that hinder a proper defense, there have been dramatic moments where the shocking truth was revealed," said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. "This lawsuit is an abuse of the judicial system because Sandra Merritt and David Daleiden are being targeted to silence them from the horrible practice of human trafficking of baby body parts. This is no different that what ABC News 20/20 did in 2000. The truth will indeed set you free," said Staver.
