Media Representatives Requesting On-Site Event Credentialing

WHAT:
Saddleback Civil Forum on National Leadership, Moderated by Pastor Rick Warren

The Forum, on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. PDT, at Saddleback Church featuring Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Barack Obama, D-Ill., is open to official media representatives who have requested credentials to attend and have received approval.

WHEN:
The deadline for all media credential requests is:
5 p.m. PDT on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008

The credential form may be found and completed at www.rickwarrennews.com.  No credential requests can be accepted after the deadline due to security and space limitations and there will be no exceptions made.  Media requesting credentials will be notified of the status of their requests after the deadline.

There will be no "walk-ups" or on-site credentialing allowed at the event.

DETAILS:
The Saddleback Civil Forum on National Leadership was established on April 14, 2008 by Pastor Rick Warren to promote civil discourse and the common good.

This second event in the Forum series will bring together presidential candidates to discuss issues of compassion and leadership.  This Forum allows the presumed party candidates to end the primary season by making their first joint appearance at the event. Warren is the founding pastor of the 22,000-member Orange County, Calif. megachurch and founder of the Forum series.
