The Saddleback Civil Forum on National Leadership was established on April 14, 2008 by Pastor Rick Warren to promote civil discourse and the common good.

This second event in the Forum series will bring together presidential candidates to discuss issues of compassion and leadership.  This Forum allows the presumed party candidates to end the primary season by making their first joint appearance at the event. Warren is the founding pastor of the 22,000-member Orange County, Calif. megachurch and founder of the Forum series.
