Animation Artist Loses Over a Hundred Pounds and Draws on Her Experience in Her Faith Based Book The Food Ain't the Problem
Contact: Carole Holliday, 818-568-4492

BURBANK, Calif., March 16, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Not a diet book and more than a weight loss book, The Food Ain't the Problem tells the story of how Carole lost over 120 pounds, gaining a slimmer body through "truly free living." With credits ranging from Disney's "A Goofy Movie" and "The Legend of Tarzan" to "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas" and "Sofia the First," Carole uses her experience as a storyboard/animation artist to bring the reader along in a journey that begins with food for the soul. Her many illustrations provide a lighthearted tone along the way.

"I like to keep things upbeat," Carole says, "Even though the issues dealt with in the book can be heavy ones, I try to use humor to explain how a weight and health change begins with a heart change. As a Christian, I came to the realization that my dropping pounds was the result of understanding that God sees us, loves us, and cares most about our hearts."

Carole wrote The Food Ain't the Problem "for two people," the Christian and the non-Christian. "While I outline what I did to lose the weight, my eating plan is by no means a one-size-fits-all approach," she states. "What is universal, though, is the understanding of God's love in our lives. That realization transformed my appetite and provides the comfort of hope to everyone. The book can help anyone of any belt size who's willing to see God's love for all mankind and, specifically, His love for each individual reader."
