WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Monday, January 28, President George W. Bush will address the nation in his last State of the Union.  Much anticipation surrounds this speech, as the American people are still seeking answers on the war in Iraq and questioning a weakened economy.  What does the future hold for the U.S. this election year?

Dr. Janice Shaw Crouse, Director and Senior Fellow of Concerned Women for America's Beverly LaHaye Institute, is available to provide political analysis of the President's address.  Dr. Crouse is an expert in presidential communication.  She is a former presidential speechwriter for President Bush 41, and her academic credentials include a Ph.D. with concentrations in political rhetoric and presidential debates.

"With so many people thinking that the nation is seriously off-track, with so many questions still being asked about the Iraqi war, and with Wall Street acting up, the President has three major challenges to address in his final State of the Union.  In addition, he will want to address his legacy.  His remarks could help frame the nation's perceptions on the major controversies during his presidency.  In short, he will need to touch all the bases as though they are single hits, but round the field with the confidence and triumph of a home run hitter," said Dr. Crouse.
