WASHINGTON, October 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Today, the President of the Susan B. Anthony List offered the following statement about the organization’s recent efforts to educate pro-life voters in Michigan:

The Susan B. Anthony List is implementing a sophisticated voter education and mobilization program that will target over 80,000 pro-life Michigan voters through mail, radio and phone-banking across the state. It is part of a broader effort to target over 1.3 million pro-life voters in battleground states nationwide.

"The future of women and their unborn children hangs in the balance with this election. And we are working overtime to educate voters about the candidates who are truly committed to defending innocent human life."

The Susan B. Anthony List voter education and mobilization program targets voters in nine battleground states. Education efforts in five states will focus on competitive U.S. Senate Races: Colorado, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire and North Carolina. Efforts in seven Presidential battleground states will highlight McCain and Obama's records on Life: Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Since its founding, the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund has helped elect 75 pro-life candidates to the House, seven to the Senate, and seven to other statewide offices across the country.
