MEDIA ADVISORY, Aug. 18, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- As an active effort to build the USA as a strong Christian nation, Pastor Steven Andrew is providing free Christian family resources to strengthen families in God. This effort is part of "Strengthen Your Family in God Month" each August.

"Christian families are foundational for the well being of the USA," says Pastor Steven Andrew, author of "Making A Strong Christian Nation" and pastor of USA Christian Ministries. He says, "Have you made the decision for your family to serve the LORD? God wants families committed to Him and strong. Is your home built on the rock of Christ?"

To help families live for God, there are free graphics to share online, a church bulletin insert, a place to study the Bible, social sharing tools and the opportunity to enter an online video contest. Christians and churches across the USA are encouraged to use the free resources at www.USAChristianMinistries.com/August.html.  

Ministries, churches and denominations both Protestant and Catholic are also invited to make and share their own tools too. The tools should use the theme verses of Joshua 24:15 and Ephesians 5:22 - 6:4.

To enter the video contest, post your video online that uses the theme verses and encourages Americans to build their families on God's Word. Then submit the URL at USA Christian Ministries' web site by August 31st. The winner will get two copies of "Making A Strong Christian Nation."

Pastor Steven shares:

"Marriage is a covenant (Malachi 2:14). It is holy. Have you noticed that in Ephesians 5, Colossians 3 and 1 Peter 3 God gives instructions for husbands, wives, parents and children as they fulfill His roles in a family? God says: 'Wives submit to your husbands as to the LORD.' (Ephesians 5:22) 'Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church...' (Ephesians 5:25) 'Fathers, bring your children up in the training and admonition of the Lord.' (Ephesians 6:4) 'Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.' (Ephesians 6:1) Obeying God will make your family strong."

In "Making A Strong Christian Nation," Pastor Steven shares all twelve month of God celebrations with the Bible theme for each month. September, for example, is "Bring Back the Holy Bible and Christian Prayer in Schools Month" based on Ephesians 6:4.
