WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- The latest issue of Providence: A Journal of Christianity & American Foreign Policy responds to growing despair about democracy's future. Author Patrick Deneen's new book Why Liberalism Failed asserts American democracy was doomed from the start. Speaking as Christians in defense of democracy, from an Augustinian perspective, are Paul Miller of Georgetown University, Jennifer Marshall of Heritage Foundation, and Jonathan Leeman of 9 Marks. Mark Tooley, president of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, will moderate.
