Boston Bomber Thought 'Elders of Zion' Legitimate

NEW YORK, April 25, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- The rapid-fire pace with which natural and man-made disasters continue to pummel the United States has had a riveting effect upon the nation, causing many to seriously consider "what is going on?" And while most of those asking continue to lean toward "more laws" to combat these phenomena, the answer just may be much simpler than that.

The latest disaster to grace the international headlines is the tragic bombing that occurred at that 2013 Boston Marathon, in which three died and many were seriously injured. Thankfully, according to one report, those injured are all expected to recover; albeit some with lifelong scars.

After a very fast and concerted investigation, suspicion fell upon two Russian immigrants -- brothers. As law enforcement closed in upon these two, one was killed and the other, the younger brother, escaped briefly, after having been seriously injured. Now, after his capture, the recovering suspect has, through interrogation, begun to give investigators information regarding the "why" of his and his brother's actions.

There have been suggestions regarding Islamic fanaticism; these suspicions seem to be merited. According to a recent Jewish Daily Forward article, the older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, told a relative he was seeking a copy of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. And it is this understanding that brings merit to the simplicity spoken of above to clarity.

A known forgery, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is nonetheless a powerful source of antisemitism around the world. Produced in czarist Russia, the Protocols influenced world leaders, from Henry Ford in America, to Muslim extremists in the Middle East, and it is still the best seller in many cultures today. Internationally recognized Middle Eastern historian and Holocaust Scholar, Dr. Alex Grobman of the America Israel Friendship League (NYC) has written a book, License to Murder, that systematically and definitively lays out the underlying deception and resultant fanaticism the Protocols engender, and which seem to be reflected in the bombing suspects' actions.

Perhaps the natural disasters occurring worldwide might be explained away as being the result of man's exploitation of nature. But when it comes to explaining the evil that men inflict upon other men, the answer may be as simple as: ". . .because you have turned away from the LORD, the LORD will not be with you."
