ORLANDO, Florida, Dec. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- Every day is Christmas at the Holy Land Experience (HLE). But during the holiday season, there's even more reason to celebrate. The Holy Land's re-creation of Jerusalem at the time of Christ comes alive with festivities that will make your entire family want to visit Bethlehem every day of the year.

From now until January 3rd, come to the Holy Land Experience and share in the power and passion of all things Christmas. Witness the nativity through the eyes of the innkeeper in Holy Land's special holiday production, Come to the Manager - A Bethlehem Christmas. See the lights, bask in the songs, and re-live the incredible evening that Jesus Christ came to earth, not as a king, but as newborn child lying in a manger.

Festive musicals and spiritually engaging presentations unfold throughout each day:

  • The true tale of St. Nicholas, told in a KidVenture, will surprise the entire family, and inspire plenty of laughter (complete with a round sporting boxing gloves!).

  • Ye Olde Christmas Carols celebrates the birth of Jesus with HLE's a capella carolers, dressed in the style of the day to charm and delight all ages with Christmas favorites and classics.

  • The Tiny Little Town of Bethlehem is an amazing miniature display of Bethlehem on the magical night Jesus was born.

  • HLE's Christmas Southern Gospel Quartet, The Fishers of Men, perform a very special Christmas concert with favorites such as Strange Way to Save the World, Glorious Impossible, and The King Is Coming.

  • The story of Hanukkah unfolds in Light the Lights; ancient blessings are bestowed and the menorah is lit.

  • The Crystal Living Waters is a series of fountains and lights, reflected in a lovely pool to create a breathtaking, inspirational, dancing water show.

In addition to the many presentations, various musical guests will appear throughout the holiday season. On December 10, enjoy special guest Charles Billingsley in a free Christmas concert at 7PM. Billingsley is one of the leading Christian soloists in America today, and is recognized as one of the most gifted vocalists in contemporary Christian and inspirational music.

A seasonal operating schedule to accommodate guests during the Christmas season is now in effect at HLE. The park is now open to the public on Sundays 1PM to 8PM, and effective November 30th, the park is open six days a week, closing on Tuesdays (except for during the week of Christmas, when the park will be open on Tuesday). Daily hours of operation vary; refer to schedule on the web site.

HLE is owned by TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), the largest Christian television network with thousands of TV and cable affiliates worldwide, including WHLV TV 52 in Orlando.
