Ban Black Lives Matter From Sports

MADISON, Wisc., July 27, 2020 /Christian Newswire/ -- We have an epidemic in sports called Black Lives Matter (BLM). A very small percentage of policemen have created situations that need addressed. However, the extreme reaction through BLM is dangerous.

Professional sports teams promote BLM by allowing kneeling before and during the national anthem, putting slogans on gear, and painting BLM logos at sporting facilities.

This did not start in a vacuum. In 2016, Colin Kaepernick and a few others started kneeling during the national anthem.

While honoring the successful 2016 Olympic team at the White House, President Obama and Vice President Biden honored Olympic sprinters John Carlos and Tommie Smith. Both were removed from the 1968 Olympics after raising black gloved fists on the medal podium as the national anthem played.

Black Lives Matter was formed by radical Marxists. They are against nuclear families and support the transgender movement.

Steve McConkey, 4 WINDS USA President, stands up worldwide for Christian athletes. In 2003, he was the only person publicly standing against the International Olympic Committee's pro-transgender policies.

In 2016, McConkey publicly denounced Obama and Biden for honoring the 1968 Olympic protesters at the White House. During that presentation, Obama raised his clenched fist in support of the protesters.

"For some time, sports are being used to promote extreme liberal causes," states McConkey. "Sports have become the vehicle for ideologies that harm society. Black Lives Matter is a violent organization that people should avoid. They want to re-make society, not create viable solutions.

"Most of the protesters do not have a clue what they are doing. Only God can change hearts. Sports will be affected as fans quit watching professional events. Add the current Virus problems to the mix and professional teams will face severe hardships."
